Priced for 10 to 75 people
That is the size range where per-user managed IT costs less than staffing the same coverage internally. Larger teams are welcome, but we scope those as a custom quote rather than list pricing.
Pricing
No surprise invoices. You pay one flat rate for every active user, billed monthly - it scales up or down automatically as your headcount changes.

That is the size range where per-user managed IT costs less than staffing the same coverage internally. Larger teams are welcome, but we scope those as a custom quote rather than list pricing.
Nonprofits pay reduced per-user rates on all three plans. Ask for it in your quote and we will also help you capture TechSoup and Microsoft 365 nonprofit licensing discounts.
Every plan is delivered remotely to clients across the US. Fully Managed adds on-site technician dispatch across the Washington, DC metro area. You do not need to be in DC to be a client.
Remote-only managed IT for distributed teams - the same security and support, without on-site visits.
Complete managed IT with on-site support - everything your organization needs, with engineers dispatched when remote isn't enough.
Scoped to your needs - ETTE supplements your internal IT staff with extra capacity, expertise, and around-the-clock security coverage.
Pricing scoped to your environment
Contact UsA user is a person who signs into your email, computers, or business apps — not a device. Email-only accounts without advanced security licensing are billed differently; see who counts as a billable user. So a 5-person team on the Fully Managed plan starts at 5 × $150 = $750 per month. A 10-person team starts at $1,500. A distributed 5-person team on Remote-Only starts at 5 × $125 = $625 per month.
That one number covers the help desk, security tools, backups, and monitoring for everyone — costs you'd otherwise pay for separately — and it adjusts automatically when your headcount changes. Volume discounts are available for larger user counts, and we work out the exact figures with you on your call, before any proposal. For an estimate matched to your team, use the price calculator below.
The honest comparison is not against zero, it is against staffing the same coverage yourself. The median annual wage for a computer user support specialist is $60,340 (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, May 2024), before benefits, payroll taxes, equipment, or training.
On Fully Managed, a 10-person team runs about $18,000 a year and a 25-person team about $45,000. Both sit below one support hire's median salary, and neither takes vacation, resigns, or leaves you uncovered during a security incident. Above roughly 75 people the math shifts and an internal hire starts to make sense, which is usually where a co-managed arrangement fits better than a full plan.
Nonprofit pricing available. Scoped to your headcount, support model, and service mix - you see exact per-user numbers in your proposal, before you commit. We also help nonprofits capture TechSoup and Microsoft 365 nonprofit licensing discounts alongside.

Virtual CIO, Virtual CISO, and AI Strategy & Enablement are scoped as separate advisory engagements - each distinct, none bundled into the others. Most funder, insurer, and partner security questionnaires are covered by the evidence your managed plan already produces — documentation, access controls, backup evidence, and GuardRail posture reporting; Virtual CISO is for ongoing questionnaire ownership, auditor coordination, and formal risk programs. Every plan is scoped during a proposal conversation. Talk with an advisor to find the right fit.
Price Calculator
Use this calculator to get a quick ballpark figure. Select your support plan, enter your user count, and toggle any advisory services you're considering. IT costs shouldn't be a mystery. Most small businesses know they need reliable IT support — they just want to understand what they're paying for before they commit.
Count anyone who logs into your network, email, or business apps - staff, contractors, or volunteers. Exclude accounts that only receive email.
Monthly Estimate
Use this estimate for planning. Your proposal states one flat per-user rate in writing before you sign.
The calculator gives you a planning number; your proposal gives you a firm one. After a short discovery conversation, we quote one flat per-user rate in writing. That rate is what appears on your invoice, and it changes only when your headcount does. Servers, compliance requirements, and complex environments can set the rate above the base shown here. Volume discounts and multi-service advisory discounts can set it below. The calculator reflects none of these, so treat it as a starting point.
Advisory Scoping
We do not bundle advisory services into managed IT by default because AI implementations are unique and therefore custom priced. The point is to make the scope clear before you buy: cadence, decision rights, deliverables, and the level of ETTE involvement.
Scoped around roadmap, budget, lifecycle, vendor decisions, and senior-level guidance. This is high-level technology strategy, not hands-on AI implementation.
Typical shape: monthly or quarterly advisory cadence, with project support scoped separately.
Scoped around security governance, risk register ownership, policy, evidence requests, vendor-risk review, and board/security reporting beyond the managed security baseline.
Typical shape: fractional security leadership with a defined meeting cadence and evidence responsibilities.
Scoped by maturity level: path-finding and governance first, broader organizational implementation second, and agentic/custom build planning only when readiness is proven. White Glove service provided; staff training included.
Typical shape: Foundations as a defined first engagement; Depth as ongoing enablement; Build as discovery-first and separately estimated.
Always Included
Live Mon–Fri, 7 AM–7 PM ET from engineers who document your environment and know your setup.
Identity, endpoint, email, backup, awareness, and monitoring controls managed from the start.
Continuous monitoring of your infrastructure so issues are detected and addressed before they affect workflow.
Operating systems and common business applications patched on schedule - included, not an add-on.
Your environment documented completely - every device, account, and configuration - as the foundation of responsive support.
Support across core technology vendors so your team is not left translating between providers.
New-hire setup is part of managed IT: devices are enrolled in endpoint management and secured before handoff. Rolling a business application out to the whole team is handled centrally through the same platform we use for patching, not machine by machine.
Outside the 7 AM–7 PM ET help desk window, managed detection and response watches for threats around the clock, and your service agreement defines the escalation path for business-critical outages. See response targets.
Service Level Objectives
Target response for business-critical outages, security incidents, and failures affecting multiple users.
Target response for single-user outages, significant degraded performance, and blocked critical functions.
Target response for standard support requests, software issues, access problems, and troubleshooting.
Target turnaround for planned changes, new user provisioning, and non-urgent infrastructure tasks.
"Response" means a technician engaged on your ticket — not an automated reply. Actual response time depends on how a ticket is triaged, so these are the targets we manage to rather than a single flat number - severity varies too much for one guarantee to mean much. What you can count on: every ticket is triaged and prioritized the moment it's submitted, and progress is visible in your quarterly reporting. Help desk hours are 7 AM–7 PM ET, Monday through Friday; for business-critical outages and security incidents outside those hours, every managed service agreement defines an after-hours emergency escalation path.
Common Questions
ETTE uses a per-user monthly model based on your active user count. Your monthly cost is the per-user rate multiplied by the number of active users, and it adjusts as your headcount changes. There are no per-device fees or hidden infrastructure charges in our standard plans. Volume discounts are available for larger user counts, and we confirm the exact figures with you on your call, before any proposal.
Managed services include help desk support, proactive monitoring, patch management, layered cybersecurity (managed detection and response and managed email security), cloud collaboration and backup, disaster recovery, and vendor coordination. The exact mix depends on your plan tier - contact us for a detailed scope.
ETTE typically works with one-year service agreements, and longer terms receive pricing discounts. Our agreements include transparent termination terms - we do not lock clients in with punitive exit clauses. We earn your continued business by delivering consistent value.
Yes. Nonprofit pricing is available and scoped to your headcount, support model, and service mix - you see exact per-user numbers in your proposal, before you commit to anything. We also help nonprofits capture discounted and donated licensing through programs like TechSoup and Microsoft 365 nonprofit plans, which often offsets a meaningful share of total technology cost.
Every plan includes a structured 30-day Smooth Start at no additional cost. We begin by documenting your environment - every device, account, application, and configuration - before making changes. This discovery phase typically takes two to four weeks and becomes the foundation for responsive, informed support.
