What is a VPAT?

A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template is a document composed of several tables that explain how products such as software, hardware, and content meet (conform to) the Revised 508 Standards or to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). VPATs help Federal agencies contracting officials and government buyers to assess technol for accessibility when doing market research and evaluating proposals. If you are working for or with federal funding, you need to have a VPAT.
